Konka takes Don Toliver's "Private Landing" somewhere it was never meant to go. Stripping the track back to its sparse tonal bells and silken original vocals, he rebuilds the foundation entirely from the ground up, replacing the original's atmosphere with something far darker and more visceral. A deep, brooding reece bassline anchors the rework while echoing reece snarls creep through the arrangement, building tension and mood with every bar. The collision of trap and club drums against a deep dubstep-focused bass palette creates a fascinating tension between worlds, pulling the warmth of the original into the shadows and emerging on the other side as something altogether more sinister.
