This one was a bit out of the normal wheelhouse but I’d been inspired by all this “bass breaks” stuff and wanted to put a spin on it. I’m glad it could find on home on Westwood X.

"Corsette" finds Konka stepping into breaks territory, taking the groove and energy of bass house and rebuilding the drum foundation around broken beats. Neuro bass stabs cut through the mix with surgical precision while tight percussion keeps the track snapping and locked in. Big horn stabs tie the whole arrangement together, giving the track a boldness and swagger that lifts it above the dancefloor and into something with a bit more attitude. A fresh angle from an producer who clearly isn't content staying in one place.”
